Nerds Abroad went to Mexico!

Nerds Abroad, in partnership with Puente de Amistad and Life Christian School, went on an exploration and service trip to Tijuana, Mexico. The main purpose of this trip was mostly focused on spending time caring for underrepresented groups sharing meals, games, crafts and arts. The focus for Nerds Abroad on this trip was to survey each organization and learn and understand how we are able to support one another. There was a very positive response for both our upcoming TechWeekend℠ model from two organizations, and two additional organizations also supported the idea of a TechBox℠ coaching and online education support. Our organization is in high demand and we are building and growing as fast as we can!

In order for us to stay on track, would you consider letting us know you’d like to volunteer with us? Or you can make a tax-deductible donation to our general fund. Anyone and all can help, regardless of your tech background! We specifically need people who are experienced in web development, project management, education, and curriculum development.
